Was the direction we chose to follow
The way we were supposed to go?
Are the trials and tribulations
There to hinder or help us grow.

Is it darkness that surrounds us
When the path is hard to see?
Or the light that leads us on
The way things were meant to be?

Know God in His infinite wisdom
Is there for all to know,
And answers every prayer
Although sometimes the answer is no.

Trust in him with all your heart
And know that he will see
You to the truest path
